Big favour to ask of you all, but could anyone show me pictures, or better still illustrations from the manuals, of the various prop tools that would be used on WWII B-17 and B24s?
We've recovered a number of them over the years in what could best be described as "relic state" and it would be nice if we could display them alongside something that shows what they should look like and were used for.

The dome handle, dome wrench, box and combination wrenches seen being used in THIS thread are exactly the sort of items we've found.

Thanks in advance,
PB

It sounds like you have the basics covered. the combination tools you show on linked thread were pretty much standard fare. I have some other (later tools) that do the same job, but were not really circa WWII.

I can't get to all my manuals right now but I did manage to dig this one out. Hopefully it is of some use.

That is a cool sales brochure Brad. Shows pretty much every tool one could ever use. I only wish the listed prices were still applicable for some of that stuff.

And a simple phone call would get you access to all of it.
Can I get in touch with them for a catalog for the 24D50?
Do they have any Rotol 5 blade prop tooling? That would be better.
