The annual Blakesburg AAA fly-in was held August 31 through September 5, 2011. I walked up and down the rows of airplanes that were parked there early Saturday morning, snapping a quick picture of each one. Far too much rain in this part of the country to go flying this past weekend. The following picture shows how the Spartan spends it's time on bad weather days.

Thanks for posting those videos. For those of us who are not able to get there, it's nice to see some of the planes that showed up. I made it down to Creve Coeur for an hour or two last Sunday and heard some great stories from Blakesburg 2011 and got to see some folks passing through on their way home. Did the same thing today, and got to see some nice Stearman's heading home from Galesburg. One of these days I'm going to find the time to start making the flyins in the Midwest again. One of these days........
