WOW...that's about all I can say. Thanks for the pics and for the places you visited for keeping this part of history alive.

Thanks everyone. Glad I didn't put you all to sleep. We had a blast, and we are planning new adventures already. This time East Coast and with our wives along as well. So it will take much longer. HAHA. We also want to hit more of Texas and all the way up to the New England Air Museum and the Corsair project.

What a great trip...one that I think the wives would have to be left at home for. Other wise the museum count would drop by at leased 1/2.

Man I have got to stop talking about visiting the US and do it! Looks like you guys had fun and of course got to see some cool planes and meet some great people. I always find if you meet people with a common interest they (usually) are alright folks! Nice to see two photos with a New Zealand connection, the P40B Tomahawk which was mostly put together here and I got to see it fly and the Polikarpov I-16 which was based here for a number of years along with several others and all flyers.
When's the next trip guys?

Finally been able to process some of my photos from the trip. Chris has covered the basics of the route, so I'll just throw some stuff up on here in fairly random order. Here are a few from the Free Fly Day at the Flying Heritage Collection on Saturday, August 27. (warning - may take a while to load)

So am I the only dummy that can't see any of Chris' pics? All I get is a "Bandwidth Exceeded" logo asking me to upgrade to the Pro version of Photobucket. Zack's came through just fine. Any advice?

I think it has to do with Chris's Photobucket account. Nobody should be able to see them now. Time to upgrade Chris. :D

They will come back up in a week or so. The same thing happened to my Photobucket account after posting pictures from WOH several years ago. I finally went "Pro" earlier this year for much better benefits fro somewhere around $25-$30.
