VERY nice! Thanks for sharing David. A long video (about 16 minutes), but it is fantastic to see another single seat A-4 Skyhawk take to the air to join the WHF's A-4B. I found this link and I believe the A-4C was restored and made its first flight in Orlando, FL.

David, do you have any additional information regarding this restored A-4C Skyhawk: What is Skyhawk Ventures LLC, and can we expect to see this Skyhawk at any air shows in the future? If that is so, we may soon have up to FOUR Skyhawks flying at air shows in the U.S.!

Way to go "Skyhawk Ventures!"

This was a 7 and a half year restoration. One of the Malaysian A-4s that were in storage for over 30 years.

It is so nice to see these older generation jets restored to fly so that the younger generation can appreciate them, well done!

More good news, big pats on the back to all involved!

Any significance to the markings chosen, or was it just a representative scheme?

The website of Skyhawk Ventures, LLC., does not show any location for the organization. The first flight video shows an airport, but it does not appear to be any airport around Orlando that I'm familiar with.

Walt, when you "Google" Skyhawk Ventures LLC, this is the beginning of the wording that comes up in one of the links:

"Testing - Skyhawk Ventures, LLC 1962 A-4C in Orlando ... "

This leads me to believe that the project has some connection to Orlando. Hopefully Rick H., David or someone else can shed some light on where the aircraft is located.

Very cool! Now all we need are some:

A7's
F8's
F-105's
F-106's
F9F's
More F4's
More F-100's

Well...... you get the picture.

I'm with you, but don't hold your breath. These things take time.

It is the Sanford/Orlando airport.

Anyone have an idea when we might see this A-4 at an air show? I hope it can fly at the TICO warbird show in March.

When I talked to the guys for an article I wrote, they said they hoped to have the Scooter at several airshows on the east coast late this year. I imagine Tico will be an obvious one for them next year, as Orlando is so very close by.

Cheers,
Richard

I emailed one of the guys there at Skyhawk Ventures and asked the same question as I am a volunteer at TICO. He replied saying that he had just sent them an email about getting details on the upcoming show at TICO. I have also been in contact with a couple of the TICO show coordinators. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will see it next March. It would be a very cool addition to the show. We shall see.
