Thanks Steve that would be great

Here you go Brian. Not the best photo, but I'm no professional photographer either. She sure is pretty!

If you want the pic, I can send it to your e-mail address if you shoot it to me via PM.

Take care,

Steve

Who owns that beautiful Sea Fury? I didn't know there were any Centaurus-powered Sea Furies in the US other than "Getch" Getchell's and one of the Sanders machines.

Thanks again to everyone for sharing the photos.

Thank you Matt! I personally have no details on the Texan, other than what could be found on the internet. I've had some interest in post-WWII warbirds in civilian colors from the 50's/60's/70's, so this one stood out to me.

G'day John,

Yep, it's a lovely machine, and your photos well capture just how good it looks. I too enjoy civil schemes, and would love to see a Mustang in a 60s cream with cheat-stripes. Don't think I ever will, though.

Thanks John, and everyone who has posted photos. You help the rest of us to enjoy the gathering of tin!

Cheers,
Matt

Hi I was there on monday i think this link will work to see my pictures if anyone is interested. Alot of the pictures were exactly the same as a few others posted! Great minds thing alike?

http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaelfin ... 218492735/

Also, was curious if a fellow walking around monday writing down tail numbers and serials in the warbird area was a wixer. Made me laugh to see someone who was surely among the most dedicated of warbird geeks, with a look that was all business! =)

Mike- Love that shot of the crew chief sitting on top of the helo. Reminds me of oh so many times when everyone else in the squadron has left except the crew chiefs and we were left readying the aircraft for the next days ops.

Was the FW190 flying at all? Haven't seen many pictures of anything flying. Just curious.

I thought it was really cool to see them sitting up on the helo enjoying the crowd and the concert. Growing up in the 80's I had a lot of good memories of people with that kind of lattitude, and it seemed like it went away through the late 90's and 00's. Lately been noticing it making a welcome comeback in the 10's.

It didn't fly on monday, but the airventure website indicated it would for the Bob Hoover tribute. I haven't come across any flying photos of it yet though. Great to see that silhouette represented!
