I know I'm coming in late here, but I'm still waking up after a long hibernation. That Hawk is a beaut... I hear there's been a bit of rattlin' about the paint job and, as I don my historian's hat, I'm going to agree. I'm not crazy about how it was done. But it is not my bird, and I did not pay for it. That said, I *do* like the choice of markings... most groovy.
Anyhoo, regardless of my opinion of this Hawk's feathers, she is absolutely beautiful... and most importantly, she's a Hawk that is flying... and that's all that truly matters to me.
