We are assembling a team to go to Texas in Mid July / Early August to help with the work on the Corsair. I have permission to bring a few responsible competent individuals with some mechanical abilities. If you are interested please PM or email me and we can discuss all the details. This is a really great chance to reach out and help with a restoration that everyone thought would never happen. The plane will never return to the pole so your efforts with not be in vain.

I'd do it in a minute if I had more vacation time and could afford the time off of work....my 5 day fishing trip end of July is the only break I get during the summer with the exception of weekends....if I had heard about this sooner maybe I woulda rescheduled...even to get down to Breck and say hi to some old friends woulda been worth the journey. Still hoping to go back to Connecticut when you guys get a hangar and help out getting it ready for a week or so when I can save up more vacation time!

Mark

I believe that's spelled DRY HEAVE.

(And you call yourself a Taxan...)

Actually, barring SWMBO and the little Wisconsin fly-in, I'd probably do it.

You can count on me to raise a toast to those valiant volunteers! :drinkers:

Dan,
I hope that toast is 500 gallons of ice cold, clear and crisp H20... Were gonna need it... "Now that's what I call high quality H2O. "

Air fares to Breckinridge International are on sale at Travelocity......real cheap. If you post it with a Hotel reservation at the Hilton you can really save a bunch.
