Welcome to Wix, thanks so much for posting.

I first learned of White One in a small Air & Space magazine article back in 95 or 96 and have been interested in its restoration ever since so I am very glad that you joined the board. :D

Impressive! I am amazed. Great work. It too never fails to astonish me the amount of work that goes into just making the jigs so that the real work can begin.

So basically from the pictures the original parts are being used as patterns, This will be/ is a newly built aircraft. (?)

To answer your question, Yes are are using the original pieces(As Patterns)of planes help build our new plane to fight worthy status like Paul Allens fw-190.

I can assure you that Paul Allens FW190 is 85% original structure and skins. Your pictures show one of the few skins that actually was changed out. Most of the rest is original German production. In some cases it was pretty beaten up, but was teased back into shape and re-used.

Cool! Thank you for sharing pictures of your progress. I've followed your FW for quite some time now, great to see the headway! This may be a dumb question, but during ww2 were german aircraft manufactured with metric or imperial thickness sheetmetal and rivets?

Is there any updates as of lately on this 190? or the 190 D-9 that is mentioned?
