Ive just released at my aviation flightgear business online shop--- a new ejection seat patch for F-4 Phantom II enthusiasts to buy and sew on jackets and flight suits etc....

Visit - http://sabrebusiness.blogspot.com and see the main page or see under patches.

Have a look and if interested send me a order. :)

If this is not right place for this post - please move mods?

You wouldn't have an MBU-5/P single bayonet harness strap for sale? Still looking for one to complete a HGU-2A/P display.

Ok, I'll keep checking E-bay :) They are indeed hard to find. That HGU-2 and MBU-5 have been laying around for years here waiting for that harness to complete it!

I have 20 helmets awaiting repairs....havent done any for 2.5years.

:)

Those early 1958-1960 era thick edgerolled HGU-2/P are very heavy - i have 2 and cant believe pilots necks were not broken in swivelling under the G forces.

Thanks god lightweight materials were developed and allow modern day warbird pilots to fly with safer flight helmet designs.

Even though I have a nice kevlar 55, I still fly with a heavy 26 with dual visor kit and scott snap-on edgeroll. I refuse to use the new stuff in an old aircraft :p I did modify it with a 55 TPL though.

I've got a long narrow MBU-5/P hardshell, face form, hose assembly, with valve, anti-strectch cord, and microphone assembly taking up room in my closet if one of y'all are interested. I could make a call and get the 3-prong connector, bayonets, and com-cord (which would be easy), the harness assembly might be a little harder but I can still check on it if wanted.

Sent my old co-worker an E-mail to get the other parts, and to check on the harness assembly.

Sent messages to both of you regarding this.
