That is too cool! How come someone doesn't sponsor something like that in the US?

Now that Carlos Gomez DC-7B flies passengers again, hopefully the Kansas City based Connie group could get their s**t together and get the same kind of permit as the 7. I have seen a photo of Gomez DC-6 recently, and it looks as though it's getting Pan Am colors. So who knows, maybe soon we'll get the chance to fly in several of these vintage airliners (before avgas cost $10 per galleon).

A shame really that Both Henry Oliver's "Columbine" and Gordon Cole's N1206 are stuck on the ground. I guess they are the closest to fly of the remaining "Connies" out there. Not counting the Kansas City boys of course.

That's just for a TV series ("Pan Am" on ABC) and it's only partial colors - forward fuselage.

I would agree that something like Carlos Gomez's HFF and the DC-7B would be outstanding for the Kansas City Super Connie, but I have serious doubts they could get FAA approval for a similar project. I really would like to see it back in the air again, though, it is a beauty. The two C-121A/L-749A's you mentioned would be great to see in the air. It's been too long since the MATS Connie (real shame what happened to that one).
