Took these photos earlier today at Press Day for Planes of Fame. Both the A-20 and green painted B-25 were in Aero Traders hangars. As I started to leave the airport today, they got a delivery which are the last two photos I have posted. Enjoy!

I have no idea which B-25 is in the hangar and I also don't know which B-25 is on the trailer. I am looking for help myself. I didn't want to ask Carl or Tony as they looked busy at the time. Maybe next week when I am back out there, I will ask one of the guys.

Oh man, lookin' good for May 14! Really nice pictures Stephen, thanks! Whats the owner/identity of the P-38? I'm out of the loop, but is this a new paint scheme?

The P-38L is NL7723C. Owner is listed as Vintage Fighters LLC from Sun Valley, ID.

Nice picture set. I appreciate you posting them.

B-25J 44-30254 is the B-25 inside the hangar getting paint and soon to be shipped off to FHC.
The trailer borne bomber is B-25J 44-30456 of the Rod Lewis collection.

Wait, I am confused. Isn't 44-30456 the B-25J that was finished in Russian markings? If so why tear it apart??

On the silver painted P-38, is there a paint out there that looks like shiny aluminium? Like AlClad for model builders..,but this one would be for grown-ups!

Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing as they are much appreciated!

Best,

S

Thank you for posting these photos of the Chino activity! Jack Croul's P-38 and P-51 are just gorgeous as ever!

I'm really looking forward to seeing FHC's B-25 following final paint, and see what exact markings they'll be going with. And it is sad seeing the Rod Lewis B-25 in its current state, but hopefully following repairs it will be good to go for many years to come!

Here she is in better times, last summer:

Thanks for posting the pics!

I didn't realize that Rod Lewis ship was damaged that badly from the incident. Or maybe it just has to be taken that far down for transport? Best of luck on the project though.

Great photos!

What's the plan for the A-20? Is she just getting a thorough going-over, or is she being put back into military configuration? Either way is fine with me..I'm just glad that there's a chance I may get to see a Havoc fly someday!

I was told it's a restoration project and the plan is to have her flying again.
