'Day glo' C-47 id needed

An idea? Greg brought up a list that this aircraft might have been converted into a spooky. But yet there is another serial number saying it was given to the Paraguay Air Force in 1967. IMHO, I don't think it's either of the aircraft.

It is indeed an AC-47D, but in those days that meant it was airways calibration. 45-1077 was one of 26 C-47D airframes converted. Later it (and the other AC-47Ds) was redesignated as an EC-47D. Some people confuse that AC-47 designation with the later AC-47D gunships. So, the first AC-47s (airways calibration) were different aircraft with a different mission from the later AC-47s (gunships).

45-1077 c/n 17080/34347 finished its USAF service as a C-47D after being previously an EC-47D. It was stuck off charge as a MAP delivery to South Vietnamese Air Force 18th June 1967.
