Full scale-built by our props debt-has an engine (of sorts) and will get of the ground a little tomorrow before getting hit by marauding fighters for the show finale.....oops-did I spoil it
Actually the trailer (Mielerwagen) it rides on is even more impressive!

Unfortunately the 190s cowling moved and caused two cooling fan blades to break off and strike the prop-huge disappointment for all those who put in the hard work to get it ready for the show, only for this to happen on the morning of the practice day

Dave, I can fully understand and feel your disappointment. That was indeed very bad luck. I hope it can be / will be fixed without much headaches.

Heard that a part broke off the propellor backing plate and went clean thru the top of the cowl???? Considerable oil on cowl and windscreen.
Thats why the aircraft could not operate for the airshow.
Anyone out there able to confirm this?

Sorry guys went ahead and posted without reading all the previous postings! Thanks for confirming the problem. I certainly hope it is not long before we see the aircraft flying again.
