I bought Catch 22 a few months ago. Never regretted buying a film so much. That one truly utterly sucks!

What the heck movie is THAT from?

I always wondered what some of the SAC planes would look like in Luftwaffe colors. Say a B-36, B-47 or a B-52 ???

You weren't supposed to buy it; just watch the youtube clips of the B-25 scenes...and General Treadle's WAC.

We could've warned you...

I thought Catch-22 was hilarious... then again, I read the book and find anything that makes fun of capitalism and bureaucracy pretty funny. It's satire guys, lighten up.

Iron Eagle III, maybe? I'm kind of surprised the Texan didn't get the Luftwaffe treatment while the teeth were left on the P-40. Weird.

Although the name of it escapes me at the moment, this flick was filmed in the UK--and not that long ago.

I scanned the lists very quickly and didnt see this one "The War Lover" while not a great flick it has its moments and one of the best endings ever. After the crew bails out,Steve McQueen tries to save the ship. "come on baby, get me up!" We can do it baby,Get me up!" "Come on baby" KA-BOOM! he's all over the white cliffs of dover.

While it's not *technically* a war movie, Strategic Air Command is another good one. Always had a soft spot for that movie. That movie started my interest in the B-47, one of my all-time favorite aircraft.

On a sidenote, I kind of like that scheme on the P-40. I remember seeing that photo in a magazine write-up before. Is that the P-40 that eventually became "Jacky C" with the American Airpower Museum in New York?
