That has to be photoshopped! No one in that photo is wearing the standard issue (and seemingly required) white painted helmet liner with deployed chin strap, and further no one is wearing white gloves. And Dan, I've seen a simular cracked window on a USAIR bird that was in a hanger :wink:

That's the mooring buoy to which the Sunderland is attached.

At the time I took this shot ~ you can see the water level is low on the opposite bank .....
so my guess is the tide was coming in up the river at the time !
