Looks like the RB-34 Ventura that was on display in Pueblo, CO has been moved to Dayton. I saw the fuselage sitting on the ramp outside the NMUSAF Restoration Hangars this weekend (no pics..photography outside the hangars is verboten.) I asked the tour guide about it, and she said "we're not supposed to talk about it."

Don't you just love that 'nothing to see here, keep moving' mentality? If I know anything about the airframe in question, I'll rattle off a burst of 'and didyaknow' just to watch the 'tour guide' field odd looks from others that all seem to say to them 'so how come he knows all this and you aren't even answering basic questions'?

Sure it wasn't half of a F-82 twin mustang???

That would make for three of them there...

I mentioned to the guide that I knew it came from Pueblo, and she made a point of ignoring my comment, so I didn't say anything more.

I didn't get through the Korean War gallery until late afternoon..we spent the AM in WWII before going on the tour.
