Unfortunately the suit has to stay, in todays society one has to be politically correct.....and let's not start a war on that topic..... The original in WWII was a nude.
But she does look great!

It's nice work, but was the original WWII one so delicately airbrushed? I didn't think they issued a lot of Paasche H's to operational units.

Sorry, but PC does NOT fly with ME! She was a nude, she SHOULD be a nude! Nature abhors a prude... She could use a workout tho- a little heavy in the thighs for my liking... ;)

All that aside, very pretty paint job.

One of my other arguments with current nose art- way too professional looking! With the originals, it was usually some young 20 something aircrew or mechanic with a little artistic talent slapping a nice picture on over a few days at most, and with minimal apparatus, and a finished, but slightly rough look. Newer ones are all magazine shoot ready pieces of art... Nice, but I like the original techniques better than the best money can buy! They were art born of loneliness, horniness, and desire, rather than just finishing a restoration...

Does anyone know the ID of the real "Hot Gen?" I've seen a pic or two over the years, but they were just of the nose.
