Drawings/Diagrams for Consolidated A-6B Turret

Fri Mar 04, 2011 12:45 pm

Does anyone have any technical drawings/diagrams of the Consolidated A-6B tail turret that was used on the B-24? When the turret was used in the nose, the links and expended cases were directed downward to a storage compartment below the turret. When the turret was used in the tail, the links and cases were deflected down and sideways out of the turret. I am sure the following manual would have all of this information clearly outlined: AN 11-45K-2. HANDBOOK OF OPERATION, SERVICE AND OVERHAUL INSTRUCTIONS - TURRETS, NAVY MODELS MPC 250CH-5, 6, 6B, SOUTHERN 250CH-7, ARMY MODEL A-6B. Date Published - May 1946.

Does anyone have this manual, and if so could you post some of the drawings or send me an e-mail with some of the drawings from this manual? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Ron

Try www.Aircraft-manuals.com they seem to have some pretty obscure blueprints and manuals
