Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

The problem has been posted in the Mod area for Scott or Ryan, so it should be looked into in the next few days.

Yeah, I haven't been able to post page 2 of emoticons either since the site blew up about a year ago, and how'szabout giving us more (and some less lame) emoticons to chose from? A smiling Santa emoticon only works for about three weeks out of the year-and a smiley in a microwave oven !?!

I'm pretty sure it has to do with people realizing that they were idiots and going back and changing things to say other than what they originally said - and then trying to make it like they never said it. It's not such a bad thing. It just means that if you're posting in the off-topic section, you'd better think through what you say before you post it.
I know it happened on at least a few threads that I participated in.
