This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I see that my posting numbers are down over 120 counts since the hiccup on line. Anyone else missing posts? No big deal, also see the last subject I responded to went away. (Biggest airshow jerks)

We lost about 3-4 days worth of posts in the server migration. apparently the database was corrupted and that caused the lost posts. Sorry about that.

WIX LIVES smiles, but the surgeons have had to amputate some of the more recent posts to save the patient!
Well done Scott, there will be a whole lot of therapists and bartenders who will be thanking you for getting the site back on line smiles!
Keep up the good work and thankyou for making this sandpit for us all, I hope you had a great Xmas and Happy New Year.

That's funny, my first logon since the blackout, and I was looking for the "Airshow jerks" thread

That must have been a good one.

Sorry about that. The server migration was not planned and the ISP commenced it without our knowledge. I do weekly backups but without foreknowledge of the migration I couldn't do one immediately prior to the server switch. It shouldn't have been a problem, but of course that immediately indicates that there will be one. My first knowledge of the migration was when the forum failed. Sorry about any lost data.

That's okay, Scott. I'm over it now. I know you always do your best here and put in countless hours of dedication to keeping this site running. Thanks for all your hard work.

Do you mean my thread ? F4U-5NL Flying Nightmares ?
I ve started an new one. In fact my
complete user was lost, all threads, all posts, all PM ..... No chance to recover

work of over a year gone

that is "sh*t happens", so I registered again and started all threads new to keep you informed whats going on overthere in South Germany at MeierMotors. Not funny .... not at all, but what should I do ?
These are things that could happen in a forum. I am an administrator of the Warbirdforum over there in Germany (scalemodelbuildres) and if something goes wrong, it goes wrong.
So, lets take a deeeeeep breath and start new.

No I meant the Sikorsky Memorial FG1-D Thread that I have been maintaining. Your doing a great job with your bent wing bird, few men have shared the pain of woring in the hell holes of the wings so I commend you!

I lost over two months on my thread. But since it is free no complaints.
