I'm looking for a supply of these particular type of dzus fastener springs. They're not made anymore, probably haven't been since the end of the war. They're called either an "SB4" or "SD4" depending on who you ask, but I think SB4 is the correct designation. They fit a #4 dzus stud. Seems to have been used mostly in electrical junction boxes, and a BT-13 probably has about a hundred of them, all told. Any help finding some would be really appreciated.

A quick search shows that these guys stock them....but you would have to talk to them for sure.

BISCO INDUSTRIES, INC

I found two other references to them also, Southco and a company called Fabory.

It may end up being just as easy to make a jig and bend your own....

Two of those companies I've already drawn a blank from but I'll fling a few more emails out. I'm sure you're right - it will probably be faster just to make them myself. Besides, if I do that, it'll virtually guarantee that as soon as I'm done the couple a' dozen that I need I'll probably trip over fifty pounds of them somewhere.

I did notice when I ran across DFCIS's site, that there was a p/n change on almost all of the older Dzus stuff. The SB4 series is now 1219-B42-xx and they don't show an SD prefixed part. Their website is DFCIS.com

Thanks, I'll take a look. Believe it or not, I think I might have just found some! :D
