Great job Karen. Complements to your Crew Chief of course as I know he does some of the work. ;)

Thanks so much, y'all!!!

And my thanks go to Brian/Crew Chief and S.O. I feel he is probably responsible for the award as I was in briefing when the EAA guys came around and started asking questions about the plane. He very skillfully gave them all the information on its history as a real combat veteran and any other info they asked for. I'm told it was quite a long conversation with several judges. I really think that made the difference in the judging.

I wish I had known the award was coming....I would've done my hair Sunday morning at AIRSHO for the picture.....LOL.....it's a girl thang

At least you didn't get run off like the winner of Best Trainer did!

Once again, Ober, once again....

The winner of the Best Trainer was not "run off" by anybody. I do not know all the circumstances of why he left, but he was not "run off." I can state that categorically.

And let me add my congratulations to Karen.

Old Shep

So Ober, how about giving us the story of who, what kind of plane, and the details of the guy who won and then did or did not get run off. It sounds like a good story.

As Old Shep said, he was not "run off." He left of his own accord. Nuf said.
