looking at the poster - is that the crew photo from the movie "Memphis Belle" as the background??!!

Sounds like it will be a great show - a bit far for me though. :(

I could almost walk to the show. Finally an airshow returns to my backyard! Driving 5-8 hours to go to a show kind of wears you down.

Steve Tournay will be up this way as well if he still has the Saturday and Sunday off. Are you going to be in the area over night on Saturday? We should arrange an evening WIX meet!

If you would like send me an email at mrhenniger@hotmail.com.

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I' ll be there also, the only thing i am wondering,is if Mr.Potters Spitifire will fly or will be on static display only, the website seems to contradict itself.I had the chance to see his P-51 twice already, and its a real beauty, but unfortunatly i never had the chance to see his Spitfire fly.

I'm sure the Spit will be flying.

Heck, I'm supposed to fly and I'm in the static page.

Are you just down for the day or overnight? We should arrange a WIX get-together for Saturday night.

To all attending the show at Carp this weekend...

Catherine and I would like to host a get together at 10 Halkirk in Kanata on Saturday evening. We don't have a BBQ, but I may be able to borrow one. We could take advantage of the new deck, and perhaps even drink a few cold ones. Perhaps Mr. Ontario-Warbird (alias Dave) could bring along a few videos from shows?

If you are interested in a social event at the Henniger Hilton then bring along a lawn chair and email me for directions.

Regards,

Mike

The Harvard is c/n CCF4-143 c/r C-GBQB correct? Your past pics don't give a good close-up of the c/r.
