It appears that the forum's been restored from a backup taken on 2nd Jan. A few days ago I was able to access my PMs and a PM from after the 2nd has subsequently disappeared. That version of the forum database didn't appear to be complete, hence the error essages when trying to view topics.

Whew, glad we got this monster back in the air. I want to thank Ryan Keough most of all for all the help he gave in trying to get this issue resolved. Hopefully the result of this hardship will be a faster and more responsive site. thanks to everyone for their patience and support.

"General Error" was becoming a General Pain and a Major Nuisance! I actually thought the WIX had ended its run. Let me tell you, that SUCKED!

Thanks guys for your hard work getting this show back on the road. I was stuck at home 3 days last week & my wife got tired of me whining about the site being down. :shock:

Sweet, we're back in bidness! Nice work, WIX staff- data migrations are a major pain in the butt, so you have my sympathies and appreciation for seeing this through to a successful completion!

Thankfully the RAF fighters in WW II were powered by real horsepower by Rolls Royce and not some mindless and souless computer made by Dell or Hp or IBM or whoever.

It is surprising how much more time there is for work when not on WIX, though.

Scott, I would definitely buy a WIX anniversary shirt!!!! Do it! It'd be a great fundraiser for the site (just ask Chris about the success they've been having with the Grissom Miss Liberty Belle shirts).
