Why, I believe my practical B-29 knowledge just doubled. I sure am glad I've had the opportunity to crawl around FIFI, really helps to understand what I see in the (excellent) photos. One thing seems fairly consistent in all my admittedly scant experience with B-29s, however: access to aft crew compartment is closed off, even in the web presentation linked just above. Wonder why?

Also wonder how the "master gunner" scheme worked out?

Most likely not restored as well as the nose. It is also very dark and low back there. Lots of places to 'ding' your head. Would be nice to see the RADAR lay-out back there though.

On my website: http://www.330th.org
on the left hand 'flag' click on 'Aircraft'
Midway down the page there is a cut-away of the aircraft 'Black and white' line drawing
Select the 'CFC' position
This explains fairly well the gun positions and who controlled what.
