Currently this is on hold due to an minor maintenance issue. :(
If resolved in time "FIFI" will be heading to Midland, but safety is first priority.

If I hear any updates today I will let you know.

The maintenance issue is more extensive than first thought. FIFI will not be going to Midland this weekend.

Not an engine issue! Issue with the exhaust system, will be resolved and returned to flight status shortly.

Nope, it disappeared years ago. I don't know what the story behind it either, but wish I did.

We are in the process of finalizing contracts. I can say that right now it does appear that we will be in at least the Mid-Atlantic area (MAAM) and very possibly a few other shows, some shows will feature "FIFI" some will feature Ol' 927 while at some locations both aircraft will be in attendance.

Once I get the go ahead I will be starting a new thread with our appearance schedule.

Is there any chance of FIFI to come to the San Francisco Bay area?? I would love to see and hear her rumble.

We may not be legal to fly there due to the "Left wing" leaning of the local population. We burn vast quantities of leaded avgas and burn lots of oil so our carbon footprint would be enormous, plus our "War mongering" image would not be welcome. Maybe if we painted FIFI pink with flowers......
