This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Greetings all,
I would like to make plastic kit of Beech C-45 Expeditor with Israeli markings but to regret I have no any image. To be honest I never seen any image and all I know is the info from Wikipedia. Any material available?
Cheers

Have you checked any of the IAF or IAF-related websites. It's been awhile since I browsed through them, but I know the Israelis were usually pretty good at documenting most of the aircraft in their inventory, including a lot of one-offs they had in '48.
If that doesn't work out, PM me with your E-mail addy and other information. I frequently correspond with an individual who served in 69 Squadron (which included the three B-17s) just after the '48 war. If he can't help you, he could probably find someone who could.

Sorry! My fault for not making myself clear: I just sent an e-mail to my friend to ask him if he knew anything about the topic. I gave him your information, but have not heard back from him, yet. I think you will hear from him directly. If not, I will e-mail you when he contacts me.

I heard back...
He said the C-45s were painted in standard Israeli camouflage: the sand, green and brown on the upper surfaces, grey on the underside. I've always liked that paint scheme. It should make for a very nice looking model!

Yes, this is standard camouflage, only to find their specific pattern as well unit code and insignia. Thank you for your time
