Liberal Air Museum, Kansas
This place is definitely worth a visit. There was plenty to see and the lady on staff had a nice video for me to watch on the history of Kansas Aviation which was pretty good. The airplanes outside are a little ratty but like so many other places it’s hard to find homes for everything inside.

I really like the Clipper model that’s hanging from the ceiling. The props even spin.

The P-51 on a stick, taken at Volk Field, was a former Minn. ANG Mustang that had a ground accident during summer camp there, so it was decided to put it on display instead of repairing it back in the 1950s.

Shocking to see that in this day and age that a Mustang can be left outside on a stick

Who knows, if it hadn't had an accident, it might have survived only to go to the scrap heap later.
