Awesome to see the Tinker Belle running her engines. I'll be out there Saturday Morning with camera in hand. Hey Brad, I'll try to meet up with you by the C-17 and see if we can't get the engine mount.

Great pics. What is the latest on the C-47 Black Sparrow? I see they must have gotten the engine change complete.

Whoever flew the B-1 in knows how to make an entrance. That was the most spirited arrival I have ever seen out of one of those things.

With the B-25 "Yellow Rose" down for an engine change, and CAF HQ cutting back on fuel...leaving none again this year for the U-11, I'll be staying home. Need to spend the weekend moving things out of my hangar anyway, looks like I have it sold...at a good price for the buyer!

I hope everyone has a good, and safe show! See you next year!

Bump

Any more pics? What's going on down there?

Come on folks, throw some of us poor Yankees some pics of the fun you're having down there.

Wish I was there with you.

Sorry I missed it. First time in years! This would have been the 35th anniversary of my first Airsho.

I heard from one of the Blastards that, other than being a little short on planes, the show was great as usual. I was told that the Vietnam act for Sunday was changed to a Korea act. It's good to toss in some variety!

Other than the black O-2 no Viet era planes to demonstrate, I did get to ride on Cavanaughs' A-26 this morning. I now want one very badly!

Was that you in the back? I was in the right seat and my wife was behind me in the jump seat. That was easily one of my all time favorite rides!

Well, they don't like to use U-birds in the Vietnam act. If they did, they could have invited the U-11 and I could have twisted Clint's arm to bring the U-3 (which was invited with full fuel, but he didn't want to be the only one from CenTex up there).

Sorry that more from that act didn't make it. It has become a great act!
