Hello All.

Anyone have an Idea of what type of Navy aircraft this was removed from and what its value would be.

Thank You

Patrick

Also can anyone verify that this is the flap actuator used in the P-38

The compressor is the same type as the B-29 used for the pneumatic bomb bay doors and gun chargers. We had a thread going on the compressor a while back: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32624&p=363611&hilit=compressor#p363611

Thanks Scott, I actually seen that thread, just am curious as to what the mount came out of.

Hopefully astixjr, Taigh, Pooner or some of our other turret gurus will chime in on this thread. I was wondering if it might have been used in the PB4Y-1 or -2 but I'm really not certain.

I'm leaning toward Neptune nose and tail turret as a possibility. Nick is the guy to ask on this one.
