Bozeman, Montana Jet Warbirds

Wed Oct 06, 2010 9:05 pm

I mentioned I had been to visit my son in Bozeman, Montana. While there I flew with Bob Marshal in his BT-13 and he later gave me a tour of the Bozeman Airport. Neat stuff there. Sitting on the ramp were two F-100C's from Flight Systems, N416FS and N419FS and also a T-33 that is an ex-Flight Systems bird, N305FS. This airplanes is flyable and they fly it quite a bit for training.

Inside one of the hangars was a beautiful F-86 (Canadair I think) that is almost ready for it's first post restoration flight. It was being prepped for a USAF "Minute Man" paint scheme. i don't have an N-number on this one.
