Hi Guys, hope this is a good place to post this. I want some feedback from the people most into this aviation so I thought the WIX would be a good place to post few pictures and a link. I've been designing T-shirt for 3 years now and one of my main passions is aircraft. I've found that good quality aviation designs are hard to come by so I've made a start to rectify that. My hope is to one day be not just a designer but a seller at airshows and if I'm really lucky this hobby will pay for my pilots licence, but right now that's just a dream. Anyway I wanted to get an idea from the community most into warbirds as to whether my work is liked and has any potential to sell at an airshow. I really like the various 'Jagdeschwader' designs . The best part is being able to preview the design over a myriad of shirt colors, and select the combination that works best right there at checkout! I've never seen that before, and it allows for a touch of personal creativity on the buyers part. I think you'll do quite well!

Thanks mate, I like your whistling death design. A warbird artist I know told me something very simular about the Beaufighter although he said it was knicknamed the whispering death for a reason that sounded very simular. I have no idea if the Beaufighter ever served in the pacific though.

I've been considering a redbubble account as well. What are their production specs on the tshirts art?

I recomend you get yourself an account chaps, the community is great for support and thier products are head and shoulders above the competition. eg Zazzle and cafe press to name a few.

As for production specs you can download a template from them then fit your art to it. all you need to know is explained in the upload section of your profile.

The nice thing is all your designs are automatically available as stickers and on kids clothes. I've ordered lots of items for myself and have been very happy with the quality and customer service.

For those photographers out there this is also a great place to sell photos and theres even a warbird group you can join!

I love the sparkplug and hotrod, but for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY, you need to do a P-47 shirt!!! I guarantee I'll buy at least four, and probably more.

T shirts are big sellers at aviation events. One thing that I and I think makes me not by one is the lack of a pocket. I know price is a factor and the cheaper a shirt is, the more it appeals to some people. But for me, I want a pocket to carry sunglasses or reading glasses. I almost never buy a shirt without a pocket. It is nice if the pocket is deep enough that the glasses don't fall out easily when you bend over, or even better a pocket with a button top or elastic top to hold something in
It is also nice if the shirt has some quality, like a 50/50 cotton polyester blend, not just polyester. 100 % preshrunk cotton is ok too.
A few warbird shirts offer both a pocket and a collar, not just a T shirt so that they look a little better to wear away from the airport.
