Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody had some good pictures of Thoughts of Midnight's nose art they wouldn't mind sharing for a project of mine?
I currently trying to paint all the surviving Airworthy P-38's in the world and I'm having trouble locating a clear photograph of the noseart that doesn't have shadows or other obstacles covering it.
So far 23 Skidoo, Glacier Girl, Honey Bunny and the Red Bull P-38 have been completed, Here is a sample of the pack:

These textures are for the IL-2 1946 flight simulator which although old, is one of the best out there!
All the best,
Rob

This one may or may not be of any use but it's what I've got. I'd be happy to send you the high res file if you so desire.

Here's a link to one I took at Sacramento last month. It doesn't have any shiny reflections.

Wow, great to see who did the nose art. If you look at Mr. Hildebrandt's website, you'll see why I make that statement. The Freidkin family couldn't have picked a better hand to paint nose art on their new airplane. I hope to get to see that in person myself as that is a true work of art.
