This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

"And the MoF @ KPAE has, and has had one of the twelve P-80's bailed to the NAVY as TV-1's back in the 40's. It's been in about half of half restored for two or more decades @ the Resto facility piled up in the middle of other piles of 'things' they will 'get to' one o these daze-Anyone seen a TV-1/P-80 anywhere @ Pepsicola?"
I too would also like to know what happened to the TV-1 that was at NAS Willow Grove.
TV-1 (TO-1) BuNo 33824 at NAS Willow Grove Jan 1974.

No these are not the same planes. The DVHAA's TV-1 has been restored and inside our museum at Willow Grove

IF TV-1, BuNo 33824, is at DVHAA's and has been restored and inside the museum at Willow Grove, why is BuNo 33824 not listed in the Warbirds Directory 2008? And what is the BuNo/serial number of the TV-1 at NAS Pensacola? Confused…

Thanks John and jcmranger I think I understand now thanks for the info. I guess the TV-1 at DVHAA was list as a P-80/ TV-1 and marked as a P-80 and I overlooked the fact that the plane was in the USAF before the USN. Sorry for the stupid question: Thanks for the help.

I was always told that there are no stupid questions. I think that's wrong but yours wasn't stupid. I meant to put this web page on my last reply. It's a picture of the TV-1 and in the back you can see our now gone ME-262.

Thanks for the picture. The P-80 was not at Willow Grove during my last visit, Aug 2003. Sorry, I missed it.
