This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

There's one being built up from the remains of TFC's N100TF (long story!) by Yanks at Chino - hopefully either this one or their present one will be released to an owner who will fly it at some point.

I think it's safe to count the LSFM example as a flyer.....

The Flying Heritage Collection F6F has not been airworthy. It has been consistently described by staff as the most original Hellcat which has not been restored. In other forums is has been said that the previous owner was very generous when other owners had parts needs and that all of the flying Hellcats are probably flying with some parts from this plane.
This past summer the FHC mechanics opened all exterior access panels and inspected all that could be examined. This survey was to determine the extent of needed restoration to bring the F6F to FHC standards. Although the response to inquiries was that no time frame for restoration has been determined, it does appear that this plane is quite likely to be the next for full restoration, following the Zero which left the floor before Labor Day.

So not to hijack the thread once again but, is the Zero finished? Has it been painted?
