Any pics of the B-17's?

Still going through them ( approx 320 pics ) but not many of the 17's which is a shame that i had to leave before they all were up at the end of the show.

I am sorry I missed you! But then maybe I didn't. I shook so many WIX hands on Saturday I don't remember every one I met!
I had a great time. Pics will take a bit longer than those with digital.

A great picture of Witchcraft! I had the great joy of flying aboard her and Nine-O-Nine last week at Mount Comfort, Indiana. Rob Collings was pilot of the B-24. It was one of the greatest experiences ever. All of the crew was great and answered any questions. I hope to be able to post some pics later. For anyone who has not had the opportunity to fly aboard or see these great planes, I recomend you do so. Hats off to the Collings Foundation for a memory that will last a life time!

anyone get anything remotely close to a decent picture of the missing man that the B-17s ran at the end of the show? don't know that I've ever heard of one run with heavies.
a story I told a few times there, sorry if you've already got it ...
Witchcraft was in Chicago last week, and the original crew chief who painted the noseart showed up. then he said some of the colors were wrong, and then offered to fix them (which was gladly accepted). seems that the original restoration only had a black and white of the noseart to work from. the story was written up in the Chicago Tribune last week.

I posted it in another, newer post along with my other Thunder pics. But here it is in case you don't want to search for it...
As for whether it was decent, well, I'm sure others got much better pics of it.

What a great time! The show was very enjoyable.
I hope to be able to post some shots tonight but I can't promise anything. Things turned a bit crazy Sunday night and I hope that tonight will be a bit of peace in the house, but that might keep me away from the computer for a few days.
