was watching jay leno's monologue tonight & he made a joke about a proposed blimp / zeppelin / dirigible around the world race. he gets his monologue joke material through the news media so there must be something in the works!! can anyone elaborate???

There was a lengthy article about it in the Wall Street Journal last week.
It's legitimate; a wealthy guy is working hard to organize it, but no official entrants thus far.

'ah....25 ZULU, caution for bag turbulence following the AETNA gas bag on short final...' That brings up a very long standing argument and question, is it possible to stall a blimp?
