Your 100% correct quite a number 43 AW (former 23W) E models out of Pope carried the sharks mouth. I believe a few Reserve/ANG squads have done it as well.

Some of these sharks have lips and some don't. I think Lipless is better. The desert tan warkhawk has healthy gums too so it must floss frequently.

The 90th BG had a number of sharkmouth B-24s. Most of them had a curious little upturn at the back, which makes them look like they're smiling!

Was wondering when my granddaddy's B-24 was going to show up on this thread. Best looking shark mouth in my biased opinion.

Seems that the 90th BG 320th SQ is one of the more remembered and noticed B-24 paint schemes from during the war.

Might as well throw in a couple of ETO shark mouthed P-51's from my dads group the 361st. As far as I know the 361st was the only American fighter group in the ETO to sport shark mouths, anyone know of others?
