RMAllunt,
Yes, the govermment has been sued successfully over a warbird claim.
The name escapes me at the moment but I WILL secure it. But, for now,
let us imagine an unsuccessful lawsuit. How much do you suppose it costs
the military to defend a frivilous suit? Would you rather feed sailors or
defend a suit ??
Once upon a time there was a civilian F-86 than crashed into a fast
food outlet in CA. It had UASF markings on it. The Air Force was sued
despite the fact it was looooong gone from their inventory. Nothing was
collected, but how much did the litigation cost???

Blue skies,
Owen

Fuselage loaded up Sunday and left Monday. (Wings currently at San Diego Museum)

So, 1994miles from San Diego to Pensacola. 1 day and four hours journey time - nonstop! (Multimap).

Left Monday - 9 hours a day+breaks? 50miles an hour. Not sure how long you can drive for and if more than one driver?

Will it be at Pensacola at the end of this week?

regards

Mark

Ps I loved part of the directions - I-10 East - for 927 miles!
