As a tremendous admirer of the Twin Mustang does anyone know how Tom Reilly is progressing on his Twin Mustang project? I realize this is a long term restoration, but I heard he acquired a cache of parts plus he is doing reverse enginenering. Any updates on this exciting project would be welcome.

Tom was interviewed by Matt on warbirdradio recently, and provided a pretty detailed update on the project. It was a fantastic interview and was really enlightening. What really surprised me was how Tom was financing the restoration of this aircraft. If you search the archives at the site, you can find it.

I had a chance about a year ago to visit the hanger and took alot of pictures of the restoration. Great folks there in Douglas. I have the pictures on my Webshots account if anyone is interested.

Here is a link to the show at Warbird Radio:

http://www.warbirdradio.com/2010/07/xp- ... adio-live/

You can either listen to it online or download it as an MP3 and listen to it off-line or on your iPod or MP3 Player.

Thanks,
Ryan
