This weekend is the 30th anniversary air show. Our hangars will be open and all of our planes will be flying except the Spit. We have several POF aircraft that will participate including the flying wing. We will be selling rides in the PT-19, and our SNJ. You can also count on a large turn out of beautiful antique birds from our friends in Santa Paula. I will be there all day Saturday and hope to meet some WIXers. Check the website below.

I would expect the Tiger but you never know. SH-60, F-18, E-2, COD, C-130 and maybe a C-17 I hear.

The PBJ can't be moved at the moment. We have most of the structure removed from the left main fuel bay. Some day....

Some gal (I guess late teens) got the fright of her life under the Tigercat. She reached into the step release & dropped the ladder with a very loud & unexpected BANG! She leapt back about 6ft & almost knocked her dad over. I was about 12ft away, walked over & pushed the ladder back in place.
Me: That just scared the crap outta ya didnt it?'
Her: (eyeballs the size of baseballs) YES!!!!

Her dad thought it was pretty funny for a "learning experience"
