Group,

Looking at an A-7 fuselage for sale on Ebay, and trying to figure out what the squares attched to the outside of the fuselage are. My best guess is some kind of weight, but was wondering if anybody knows.

Thanks

Load pads for wiffle trees. That was a static test fuselage. To say it's wore out would be an understatement. It's okay for a static display if you don't care about it looking exactly like a flyer.

Group,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I would not mind restoring the fuselage for static display, but the price is too much.
I just picked up an F-86D fuselage and horizontal for $3K, that I will be restoring.
Of course that is after I complete several other projects.
(Yak-52, Flyer; L-5, Flyer; PT-19, Flyer; Fouga, Static; P-40 Replicas, ect.....).

Thanks
Avn-Tech
