Beautiful stuff! What a gorgeous airplane that's going to be when she is done.

Those pictures made me drool!

Peace,

David

Waw, nice job. It will be a very nice plane when finished.

Just Curious: the plane could be dismantled to be shipped to the US ? or an other solution is planned ?

That is on my list of aircraft to see fly before I die! I really hope Jerry brings it to Geneseo, I hope the HAG make an effort to get Jerry to bring it to the show.

What a sight that would be, a mosquito on turf!

Tim

Last one I saw was Kermit's @ Breckenridge 1988 I think. It will be worth the drive where ever it is to see and hear. Maybe Jim could get one as well since Rich is up to his elbows in the Queen's fleet now...

I don't see why he wouldn't. He's been a supporter/attendee of the past 3 shows. In 08 they booked his P-40 and he flew in personaly in his Mustang. Last year his Corsair, and this year he arrived in his Dragon Rapide unannounced. Took everyone including the announcer by surprise. IIRC it was recently restored and was a beauty.

BTW did anyone see the T-shirt he was wearing? On the back it had a Mossie and was set up like a movie poster, "Coming Summer 2011 to an Airshow Near You!" I said to him where can I get one of those? Jerry told me "You have to work on the airplane." 8)

I wanted one so bad! :D

Lynn,
I was going to offer you the moderator position on the BE thread but now I'm going to have to rethink that. :axe:
Besides I think Jim is waiting for a Lancaster or maybe something easy like a Shackleton.

Rich

You must mean Omaka; Mosquito, turf and vineyards...

And not just a possibility, but an objective.

I was more referring to the Wine Region of Up State New York (USA) to tell you the truth. But I'd love to see in person the Omaka event you refer.

Another link again to RNZAF forum for more AvSpecs Mosquito build photos, including a cockpit shot and their P-40C restoration. Also New Zealand Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) displays and new hanger build.

The MOTAT is a must see if you ever get down that way....
