I agree, I'm looking forward to a couple of shots that were taken from the elevated platform. those will be great.

I found it hard to try and get them all in the camera frame. They were spread out pretty good! IMHO.

Did anyone get an air-to-ground shot of all eight Forts on the ramp? That would be worth seeing!

When I was there on Sunday, only six were lined up. Texas Raiders was in a hangar across the field getting a little TLC, and Yankee Lady was busy hopping rides (bringing in much-needed cash!) This was the best lineup shot I was able to get.

Gee, now I'm famous!

Those are my legs standing next to the ladder beside #2 on Liberty Belle working on a fuel pump change!

I wish I knew that was you! I crouched under the plane and watched you working on it for 5-10 minutes.

Had a blast at TOM.For those of you that have not made the trip as of yet you need to.Next year the project airplanes will try to bring the forward fuselages to the show.Watching all the 17s and the one crate fly over was very motivating.Roushs Highbacker was beautiful with the malcom hood.It looked almost as good as a kittyhawk.

Did anyone get a decent shot of the "missing man" flight on Sunday? They held the formation far too long and Witchcraft (*or The Dragon and His Tail) didn't do the pull up until they were directly over the crowd. I understand the timing involved and am not sure the pilot of Witchcraft had done a missing man before. Not a criticism of him, by any means, but it would have been quite a bit more "spectacular" to have made the move well in front of the show line. hope someone here was back in the general public area and got a good shot.

Now I feel even stupider than when I axed some of the troops why The Dragon and his Tail wasn't included in the count of flying Liberators.....DUH
IMHO...To do that move with a B-17
or a B-24 takes big brass ones.
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to take it up with the air boss.

I hope you don't mind the fun we had at your expense.

It was nice seeing you and Mrs. Mudge again.
