For allowing me to have the opportunity to fulfill another warbird ride dream. After the crew worked all afternoon to fix a leaky oil cooler we had a great afternoon flight. As it turned out, WIXer YAF340 from the Yankee Air Museum and I were on the same flight!

For an added bonus we had two B-24 veterans on the flight. One was a pilot and the other was a gunner. The pilot I believed stayed looking over the flight deck for the entire flight.

Good for you WIXerGreg. I've flown on Witchcraft and Nine O Nine and it is a great experience and memory. IndyJen and I played hooky from the Harpoon Saturday in order to see antique tractors and steam threshing machines in Rushville.

Thanks Mazda and PJ. It WAS a great experience! We flew with the waist windows open and the exhaust and engine sound was awesome.

PJ, I think that 'poon owed you and Jenny a break!

Here's another picture I found that was presentable.

My dad, brother and I were on the Saturday morning flight. It was an amazing experience that I won't soon forget. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

I'm glad to hear that they were able to get things fixed in time for the afternoon passenger flight.

Many thanks to the Collings Foundation and the B-24 crew!

It was great meeting people at Thunder. Alot of old faces as well as some new ones. It's good to see y'all had a good time on the flights. It's really special to fly out of Willow Run, you never know which takeoff will be the last for a B-24 out of that airport.
