I'm not sure if she has landed yet. I think the plan was for the first flight to be two hours, and she has only been up an hour or so.

"FIFI" is now back on the ground, the first flight was changed to about 30-40 minutes. Dave will be filling us in later, but it was a successful flight. :drinkers:

Congrats to Dave, Rick, and all those that made today happen!

Congratulations to everyone involved! I can't wait to see some video.

It sure would be a shame if you had a navigational error on one of those test flights and ended up in Michigan for the weekend.

Great news. Thanks for keeping us informed. Congrats to all involved, your dedication is appreciated. I look forward to seeing FIFI here in Atlanta again someday. 8)

LOVE IT !!!!

WAY TO GO Dave, the crew who were on board today and especially to all the volunteers who have put in so many hours over the years. I'm sure there were some very big smiles looking down on FIFI this morning.

Today has been a great day. All 4 new engines ran perfect and extremely cool. Our overheating issues (old engines) are gone forever. We can now leave the power up and the airspeeds slower in climb. Held 1300 FPM for as long as we wanted at 170 IAS. Climb power in level flight gave us 235 IAS with the cowl flaps open. Closing things up tight should add another 10 mph.

Rodney and Gary are smiling.
