GREAT after dark/crowds photos Tim!

Behind the champion Corsair at dusk is that an SBD and a radial-engined Yak? I don't recall anyone else posting photos of those two.

Not sure about the Yak, but that is an SBD. The CAF was there with theirs. I saw it on Sunday at Fondulac. I noticed that the B-25 Barbie III was at Fondulac, but I never saw it over at Oshkosh. Why is that?

The CAF Mustang and SBD, (and I assuming Barbie)were based at Fondulac because they are selling rides and are not allowed to do so at OSH.

Okay, so i'm still working with a rough computer situation and more photos will come after I get back to Seattle. I thought i'd at least share a few shots with you in the meantime. Some of these shots as well as others will hopefully end up in the EAA Warbirds magazine AirVenture issue coming in a couple months.

Great night shots, with the exception of the planes with canopy covers on. I know why they are there, but it does not mean I have to like it. No matter how dramatic or well done a photo is, it's junk with a canopy cover in it, IMHO.

Great pictures guys. I especially like the night shots. A big thank you to Zach and Jen for hosting WIX party 2010. It was good to hang out with WIXer's Bear, Dan K, Chris, Dan J, AL, Bill, Pirate Lex and share the Foundations airplanes with a few up close and personal tours. Looking forward to next year.

I agree, nice night shots. Great sky. Did you take any without the fill flash? I don't care for the flash on shots like that myself.

Dan K, looks like it's time to "go pro" with the 'Bucket, dude. I know, I know ...... but I did it myself recently, and not having to screw with all the stupid ads alone was a huge improvement. And unlike you, I'm poor, and nobody wants to see my pictures.

(Disclaimer: I wasn't within 1000 miles of OSH, and if I otherwise manage any cool airplane shots I'll be sure to post 'em.)

Meanwhile, Mustangdriver gets the prize for best constellation shots. Sagittarius and Scorpius were lookin' good at Air Venture!

Is that Connie Edwards PBY?

I like the Goose, I've seen that aircraft several times before. I actually went on a flight in a Widgeon a couple years ago where we followed that Goose down into a lake for a water landing. Fun times!

Great photos everyone! I'll make it there one of these years...
