Opening up my Wiki

I was thinking on having the Wiki on my Warbird-Central page, opened up to the public, or build another that people can update.

Do you think this would fly?

Hi Paul,

I built a custom tool for this exact purpose on my site. Well, actually the Wiki type functionality was a nice secondary benefit to the main purpose of augmenting the Locator by making updates easier. Anyway, my tool allows users to enter historical events in a draft format for review by an editor. Users can also upload photos, etc.

It hasn't done too much "flying" yet, in that I don't get many users editing histories, but it has happened. The photo upload tool works well, and is fairly well exercised with the 2000 photos mark out on the horizon.

Haved you checked it out? What do you think? Is there an opportunity for us to collaborate?

Mike

Yeah, we can certainly look at interfacing with each others site, or combining them both? hmmmmm

I will PM you.
