That is AWESOME! Although how fun would it be if they temporarily painted the Phantom's tail in US Airways markings...

I'd get a little nervous if the plane starts heading towards Lake Winnebago...

Seriously, though..this is totally awesome!

We are going to have to delay the flight with Captain Sullenberger until we get the airplane back to Houston.

Maybe they could have him ride a unicycle instead. Blindfolded!

I'd rather put him in a PBY :D
(Got to say the flight deck crew did a good job that day!)

Funny story- my wife said there was no way she was missing the fly-in theater presentation of "Brace for Impact", because she had to see Capt "Sully" introduce the film. She was super excited for that. Anyhow, while sitting there waiting for things to begin, my 7 year old had to use the restroom. My wife asks me to take him to the portos, so she wouldn't miss anything. While I'm standing there waiting on my son, Sully pulls up on a golf cart, and I got to show my wife the following picture when I got back to the seats. She was really kicking herself!

Lots of cool and fun things happen at Oshkosh.

Well, he stepped down a notch in complexity.

When the jet proved too fragile for the mission, he flew some a Young Eagles flight for 2 kids and a happy Mom.

He used a Cessna, not quite as fast as an F-4, but it smells better.
