Announced this afternoon, Rod Hightower, Stearman owner and Creve Coeur based, is the new President of EAA!

Congratulations Rod!!!!!

I'm so happy it was him. Had no idea but can totally support him. He's a straight-shooter, great guy and I'm proud to call him my friend.

See ya there Rod!

Congratulations to Rod Hightower! What a great choice for the next EAA President. He's a proven leader and has a love for aviation that runs very deep. Of course he's a Stearman pilot! What, you thought they would give this job to an N3N driver? :D

*how did they manage to keep the news of their choice such a secret? On the other hand, now I know what Tom Poberezny was doing at Creve Coeur Airport a few months ago.
